As the owner or manager of a building it would generally be considered your responsibility to “make a suitable and sufficient assessment of the risks to which relevant persons are exposed”. This would include the risks associated with fire.
You should therefore ask yourself:
- Do you have documented fire safety procedures?; and if so
- Are you up to date with your fire safety procedures?
If the answer to either of these questions is no, then a site survey is an excellent way of ensuring that your fire protection measures are adequate.
Why not take advantage of a site survey of your premises. We can visit your premises, review your current fire safety procedures, update you on the legislation applicable to your business and answer any questions you may have. We will then make brief recommendations and if required a full quotation for work to bring you in line with current requirements.
